Thomas Haas competed on the ATP Tour from 1996 to 2017. After breaking into the world top 100 in 1997, and reaching a career-high singles ranking of world No. 2 in May 2002, he struggled with injuries for a few years until reaching the top 10 again in 2007. After a few more years plauged by injuries, Tommy returned at number 11 in 2013. Tommy continued to play until 2018,over the years reaching the quarterfinals at the French Open, the semifinals of the Australian Open three times, and in Wimbledon once. He reached the quarterfinal stage of each of the Grand Slam events. He won 15 career titles in singles, including one Masters tournament (Stuttgart) in 2001, and has a silver medal from the 2000 Summer Olympics.
