Rubin Carter was an American-Canadian professional boxer who was wrongly convicted of murder in 1967. Carter was released from prison after serving nearly 20 years after a petition of habeus corpus. His autobiography was the inspiration for the Bob Dylan song "Hurricane" and later the 1999 film The Hurricane, starring Denzel Washington as Carter. This shadowbox features a pair of trunks autographed by boxing Legend Rubin "Hurricane" Carter along with a photo also bearing his signature. Combined with the trunks and photo is an informational commemorative plaque, finishing off the box and creating a piece that would make an amazing addition to any fan's collection.
