This photo taken of the 1953 Rockford Peaches was autographed by Ruth Richard, Joan Berger, and Virginia Ventura Manina. The photo is an original. The Peaches were a women's professional baseball team who played from 1943 through 1954 in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. The Peaches were one of two teams to play in every AAGPBL season (the other being the South Bend Blue Sox). They were one of the more successful teams in the AAGPBL, winning the league championship in 1945, 1948, 1949, and 1950. Richard and Berger were both named to the All-Star team during their careers. The movie "A League of Their Own" is based on the team's exploits.
