Carl Lewis is an American former track and field athlete who won nine Olympic Gold medals, one silver, and 10 World Championship medals (8 of which were gold). He was a dominant sprinter and long jumper who set world records in the 100 meter dash, the 4 x 100 meter relay, 4 x 200 meter relay, and indoor long jump - which still stands today! He has 65 consecutive victories in long jump that he achieved over the course of 10 years which is one of the sports' longest undefeated streaks. He was voted World Athlete of the Century, Sportsman of the Century, Olympian of the Century, and Athlete of the year.
